The Warrior's Study
The Warrior’s Study
Your Invitation for an interview.
Preserving the Voices That Built Martial Arts
Martial arts was never built on trends.
It was built on discipline, consistency, and decades of real training.
But today, too much of it has been reduced to noise—
flash, shortcuts, and surface-level understanding.
And because of that, the real lessons…
the ones earned over time…
are being lost.
This project exists to preserve them.
The Warrior’s Study is a private interview series focused on documenting the mindset, experience, techniques and legacy of martial artists who have truly lived the path.
This is not about influence.
It’s about experience.
It’s about preserving what matters.
Led by Daniel Doke
A lifelong martial artist with over 50 years of training in Tang Soo Do,
Daniel has trained under Grandmaster Byrne.
In addition to his martial arts background, he is a Master and Craftsman Photographer known for documenting powerful human stories with depth, clarity, and respect.
The Warrior’s Study brings that same level of storytelling into the martial arts world—focused on preserving the voices and lessons that matter.
Why This Matters
There is a difference between practicing martial arts…
and living it.
The individuals who have dedicated decades to this path carry something that cannot be replicated through trends or shortcuts.
That perspective deserves to be documented—accurately, respectfully, and without distortion.
This series is built to do exactly that.

About the Project
I’m currently in conversation with several respected martial artists, and the early interviews are already producing powerful, meaningful insights.
This is not a short-term content project.
This is being built into a serious platform for the martial arts community—focused on documenting the voices, lessons, and philosophies that define real training.

I’m not looking for influencers.
I’m looking for martial artists who have lived the path.
